We knew Oklahoma State was going to have to play Utah and Kansas State next fall, two of the other likely contenders for Big 12 supremacy. Tuesday, we found out the Cowboys have to play them in back-to-back weeks to start conference play. Add in non-conference games against FCS champ South Dakota State, SEC opponent Arkansas and a road trip to Tulsa, and OSU faces a tough start to the season. Get off to a slow start again this season, and OSU’s chances of making the Big 12 title game much less the College Football Playoff could be over before October. Berry and I talk about all that and more on the Jenni & Berry Show.

Episode highlights:

2:03: What jumps out about OSU’s schedule in the first year of the 16-team Big 12?

19:10: What teams got byes at good times?

21:00: Warning, Big 12 fans: that September 7 game between Baylor and Utah is not a conference game

21:30: Did anyone’s schedule change how you feel about the teams you think have the best chance to make Arlington?
